What's up fellow aliens? My name is Joey Palehorse, and I am the creative Force behind withdrawn Within. A little about me, I grew up in a small town in Louisiana, I have a mix of muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy and I self identify as a Buddhist and a hippie. I'm just some stoner dude making psychedelic music in his bedroom, when I'm not making music I like reading philosophy such as Socrates, Plato and Confucius, and when I'm not doing that I like listening to The Comedy stylings of Bill Hicks and George Carlin. Some of my favorite bands include Tool, Pantera, Black Sabbath,  Acid Bath,  Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd,  The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Doors, Crowbar and Eyehategod, just to name a few. Some of my favorite rappers include 2Pac, Outkast,  Bone Thugs, Lil Wayne, Three 6 Mafia, Snoop Dogg, Dre, N.W.A, Bones and Tommy Wright III. 

I want this project to be more than just music, eventually it'll grow to include a film company, a clothing brand, a community of other artists as well as myself, and I also would like to do some sort of Music, Poetry, Film and Art Festival tied to it as well.

The project started as a way for me to get out my personal demons, it has grown into a spiritual Awakening for me. Now the project is about healing, compassion and love. I have a message I want to share with the world, and the music is just a little part of it.
